Jessamy recently collected her cheque for BDS $415,903 at The Barbados Lottery Independence Square Retail Office and happily confirmed: “I feel great.” As a regular Double Draw player since the start of the game in 1995, Jessamy randomly chose her numbers 06, 16, 17, 19, 23, 25, 28 for Draw # 25688, but had no idea that she would win and, even more so, win this big. She does, however, plan to use her winnings to pay some bills and, most importantly, invest wisely. Shelly Ann Hee Chung, site manager at The Barbados Lottery, congratulated the newest Double Draw ‘Spot 7’ Jackpot winner and noted: “We are delighted to hear that Mrs. Jessamy is truly a dedicated Double Draw player who has been playing the game for over 25 years.” Since the start of the year The Barbados Lottery has paid over $8.7 million to Double Draw winners to date and over $37 million in 2019. Jessamy also indicated that she will continue to play Double Draw for many more years as it is her favourite game. Her advice to other Barbados Lottery players remains: “Keep playing.
