Woman falls into well at Henry’s Lane St Michael

Efforts are underway to rescue a woman who fell into a well in St Michael this morning.

Shortly before 9 am, police received and responded to a report that a woman had fallen into a well located in the backyard of her residence at Henry’s Lane, St  Michael.

The fire service and ambulance service were subsequently summoned and a rescue effort is ongoing to get her out of the well.

Police say that at this stage they cannot confirm the status of her injuries or whether or not she is alive.

An update will be given as soon as more information is verified.
