A small craft advisory is in effect for Barbados

The Barbados Meteorological Services has advised that a small craft advisory is in effect for Barbados valid from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow Thursday, October 1, 2020.

All marine craft operators and beachgoers mainly on the east of the island should note the possibility of large open water swells, which can be hazardous to some vessels along the coast and nearshore of this zone in open water.

Additionally, operation of smaller vessels can be difficult at times due to large swells. (BMS)
