A 62-year-old female visitor is the latest person to test positive for COVID-19 in Barbados.
She arrived on a JetBlue flight from New York and went into mandatory quarantine as required by the COVID-19 travel protocols.

The result of her second test was amongst the 475 conducted by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory on Wednesday, October 7. Since February, the lab has performed 26, 443 tests.
Barbados’ tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases now stands at 204, and there are 15 persons in isolation. There have been no recoveries so no one will be discharged.

Testing continues for persons identified through contact tracing linked to the most recent cluster, including students and staff of The Ellerslie School.(BGIS)
