Two charged with murder

A man and woman were remanded to HMP Dodds today after appearing on a murder charge.

Shonette Vanessa Williams, 39, and Calvin Osbort Osbourne, 21, both of Lower Bridge Gap, Cave Hill, St Michael are accused of the October 18 murder of 44-year-old Gregory Adams.

Magistrate Manila Renee read the charge to Williams and Osbourne in the No. 2 District “A” Magistrates’ Court.

They are expected to make their second appearance on November 18.

According to a police report, on Sunday around 6:20 a.m., lawmen found Adam’s lifeless body in the backyard of a residence with a number of wounds.
