Twenty-four-year-old Romario Gould and 32-year-old Lorenzo Gould of Westbury Road, St Michael appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes today in the District ‘A’ Court. The younger Gould, a Hilti operator, was reprimanded and discharged on a charge of unlawful possession of cannabis on November 3, 2020. Both men, who were jointly accused of unlawful possession on that same date, were also reprimanded and discharged for the offence. They were also jointly accused of trafficking on November 3, 2020 and again, Chief Magistrate Weekes reprimanded and discharged them. They were reprimanded and discharged on a joint charge of unlawful possession of cannabis on October 3, 2020. If they breach that order, the two will have to pay $1,500 each forthwith or spend three months behind bars. Lorenzo Gould told the court he took full responsibility for the offences while Romario said “all the plants is mine” and were for his personal use. The court was informed that there were 14 plants found by police.
