It said, a surface to mid-level instability remains across the island today and is expected to remain across the island tomorrow Tuesday 10, November. This will result in partly cloudy conditions with the occasional showers. The Barbados Meteorological Services is forecasting occasional moderate to heavy showers to affect Barbados, due to a generally unstable atmospheric pattern on Thursday into the Friday. This information statement is NOT a warning or a watch, and it is merely intended for informational purposes to help build awareness of a possible upcoming rain event. Please continue to monitor all of our products for updates as we near the weekend. This message will be updated if the situation changes significantly. The BMS is advising Barbadians to plan outdoor activities, such as repairs to leaking roofs, construction, and road maintenance etc in advance of the wet period and to ensure drains are not clogged and gutters are kept clear and free of debris.
