Visitors and airline crew must stay in their room until second test

Acting Chief Medical Officer Kenneth George has ordered all visitors and airline crew to stay in their respective rooms until their second COVID-19 test is completed and the results known. In a memo dated today January 4, 2021, the CMO said there will be no exceptions.

The notice from the CMO reads: “Effective immediately and until further notice, all visitors in Barbados shall remain in their rooms until their second test is complete and their results have been returned. This will apply to airline screw also. There are no exceptions.” (Ministry of Health and Wellness)
