Police spokesman Station Sergeant (ag) Michael Blackman told Barbados TODAY police were on patrol in the area of Forde’s Land, White Hall St Michael around 8:05 a.m., when they received a report of a body lying in a track off the road. Upon responding, officers discovered the body of the St Michael male who has been identified as Matthew Cumberbatch. However, Blackman was not in a position to give the age or address of the deceased. Police are calling on members of the public to assist in the ongoing investigation, “We are appealing to members of the public who may have any information to contact the District ‘A’ Police Station [at 430-7242], Police Emergency at [211] or Crime Stoppers at [1-800-TIPS], ” Blackman said.
