There were 23 new positive cases of COVID-19 on Friday, and 30 persons will be released from isolation today.
The new cases – 11 women and 12 men – were among 1,400 tests carried out by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory, and represent results for both locals and visitors.
There are now 428 persons remaining in isolation. Â Barbados has recorded 808 confirmed cases to date, 347 females and 461 males, and 373 persons have recovered.
The public health laboratory has completed 81,888 tests. (BGIS)
