From March 27 until April 12, a curfew will be in effect from noon on Saturdays until 5 a.m. on Mondays. Holness said that from this Tuesday until Friday, the nightly curfew hours will remain 8 p.m .to 5 a.m On Friday, workplaces will be required to close at noon, except for essential services which include: medical establishments, supermarkets, wholesalers, pharmacies, restaurants, and other food establishments, which will remain open up to the start of the curfew. The first-weekend curfew begins the following day, Saturday, March 27. Essential services will also still be operational. The country’s COVID-19 vaccination programme will also continue during curfew hours.
