Electoral Department to close on Wednesday

The Electoral Department is preparing to issue the new smart ID card, and as a result, the Warrens Tower II office, at Warrens, St. Michael, will be closed for registrations, from Wednesday, April 14.

However, the collection of the current ID cards will be facilitated until Friday, April 16. The office is expected to reopen for registration and issuance of the new ID card on Monday, May 3.

The department apologises for any inconvenience this closure may cause, and looks forward to issuing the new smart ID card. For additional information or any emergencies, persons may call the Electoral
