Established in 1877, the London College of Music Examinations (LCME) is one of the longest-established exam boards for the creative arts in the UK. The examinations are facilitated by East Point Productions Inc, a creative arts company led by musician & vocalist Kellie Cadogan. The guitar & bass students who made history were prepared by tutor extraordinaire and musician Richard “Bill” Evans. Evans was able to secure accredited certification for his private students by getting on board with East Point Productions and entering 15 students for the examinations – all of whom passed with merits and distinctions. The students who successfully completed the historic acoustic guitar and electric bass examinations are Zenobia Walcott, Amelio Walton- Belgrave, Makayla Murrell, Caitlyn Harewood, Sincere Springer, Alyssa Alleyne, Charles Leslie, Waynelle Collymore-Taylor, Jonathan Rouse, Anaya Shepherd, Xavier King, Daniel Best, Joshua Yearwood, Darien Benn and Ethan Ellis.
