Murder accused Akinola Nolan Cumberbatch has been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds until May 14.

The 23-year-old, of Lammings Housing Area, St Joseph, is accused of murdering Tamesh Ramdas on April 9.

He was not required to plead to the indictable charge when he appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in District ‘F’ Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

The accused is represented by Queen’s Counsel Michael Lashley and attorney Simon Clarke.

Cumberbatch is also facing five other indictable charges of unlawfully and maliciously engaging in conduct, on April 9, which placed Keamo Hurdle, Chad Haynes, Thierry Lynch, Davion Austin and Daniel Odle in danger of death or serious bodily harm.
