It is alleged that Dellon Osica Wint, of Passage Gardens, Passage Road, St Michael stole a $35 000 motorcar belonging to Ahmed Esuf sometime between June 1 and November 19, 2020. The 37-year-old was not required to plead to the indictable charge when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes this afternoon. Wint also could not plead to the charge that he dishonestly obtained the sum of $17 000 from Sonia Wint with intent to permanently deprive her by deception, by falsely representing that he was the owner of a motorcar and authorized to sell it. That offence is alleged to have occurred between May 1 and December 31, 2020. He however said he was not guilty of fraudulently using the registration plates MA6280 on a motor on April 28 along Passage Road around 8 p.m. Wint further denied that the car was not registered with Licensing Authority or did not have insurance. With no objections from prosecutor Constable Victoria Taitt he secured bail with one surety.
