Two St Michael men are now on remand at Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds in connection with the murder of Shaken Joseph who lost his life on April 10.
Ashari Zidane Agard, 21, of 5D Neptune Road, Deacons, St Michael and Jerimiah Sellasie Bartlett, 18, of Block 3A Fernihurst, Deacons, St Michael are alleged to have committed the crime.
They are also charged with using a firearm on the same date while committing the offence of murder while Agard is separately accused of having seven rounds of ammunition in his possession without a valid permit.
Agard, who is represented by attorney-at-law Ajamu Boardi and Bartlett who has Queen’s Counsel Michael Lashley and Simon Clarke as his legal counsel, were not required to plead to the indicatable charges.
They were remanded today by Chief Magistrate Ian Weekes to reappear before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on May 31.
