Yet another instance of gunplay – the sixth since the start of the month – called out police Wednesday night but this time to face down a gunman in The City.
Police patrols confronted a man who was armed with a firearm between Chapman Lane and Spencer’s Gap around 8.45, they said.
Two people were reportedly shot and injured.
Both were taken to hospital in separate ambulances but the injuries are not life-threatening, according to police.
