Three cases of delta variant of COVID-19 identified in Barbados

Three cases of the delta variant of COVID-19 have been confirmed in Barbados, Minister of Health and Wellness Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic has announced.

A fourth person was also tested for a variant of concern, the gamma variant.

All four  have since been released from the Harrison Point quarantine facility and there is no local transmission, the minister said.
