Police have named the man who was shot and killed at Deacons Road, St Michael around 10:20 p.m. on Friday night.
He is Shem Cummins, 29, of Block 4D, Neptune Road, Deacons Farm.
Police said they received a report of multiple gunshots in the area and one man appeared to be dead on scene.
On their arrival, officers confirmed the victim had died.
Investigations are continuing.
