The facility conducted 1,081 tests on Tuesday, August 10. The number of people in isolation is 106. A total of 4,496 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (2,184 females and 2,312 males) have been recorded since the start of the pandemic. Forty-eight people have died from the viral illness. The public health laboratory has carried out 233,008 tests since February last year. Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 100,698 people have received first doses of the vaccine, while 82,088 persons (30.3 per cent of the population) have been given second doses and are fully vaccinated.
