Vaccinations for students and adults continue at a number of designated sites this week. The Unit advises all students who wish to be vaccinated against COVID-19 that they are required to present their identification cards. The AstraZeneca, Sinopharm and Pfizer vaccines will be available at all of the vaccination centres. The school sites operating on Sunday, August 29, are Alexandra School, Queen’s Street, Speightstown, St Peter, and the Princess Margaret Secondary School, Six Cross Roads, St Philip. The only non-school site open on Sunday is Building No.2, Harbour Industrial Park, St Michael. The school sites which will open on Monday, August 30, are Harrison College, Crumpton Street, St Michael; St Leonard’s Boys’ Secondary School, Richmond Gap, St Michael; Princess Margaret Secondary School; Christ Church Parish Church Hall, Church Hill, Christ Church; the University of the West Indies Open Campus, Pine, St Michael; The Lester Vaughan School, Cane Garden, St Thomas, and Alexandra School. On Tuesday, August 31, the school sites administering the vaccine to students are Harrison College; St Leonard’s Boys’ Secondary School; Princess Margaret Secondary School; Christ Church Parish Church Hall; the University of the West Indies Open Campus; The Lester Vaughan School and Alexandra School. The non-school sites which will open are Building No.2, Harbour Industrial Park and the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic. Those school sites operating on Wednesday, September 1, will be Harrison College; St Leonard’s Boys’ Secondary School; Princess Margaret Secondary School; Christ Church Parish Church Hall; the University of the West Indies Open Campus; The Lester Vaughan School and Alexandra School. The non-school sites will be Building No.2, Harbour Industrial Park and the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic. On Thursday, August 2, Harrison College; St Leonard’s Boys’ Secondary School; Princess Margaret Secondary School; Christ Church Parish Church Hall; the University of the West Indies Open Campus; The Lester Vaughan School and Alexandra School will be the school sites catering to students. The non-school sites are Building No.2, Harbour Industrial Park, and Eunice Gibson Polyclinic. The school sites which will open on Friday, September 3, are Harrison College; St Leonard’s Boys’ Secondary School; Princess Margaret Secondary School; Christ Church Parish Church Hall; the University of the West Indies Open Campus and The Lester Vaughan School. The non-school sites are Building No.2, Harbour Industrial Park; the Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, and the Masonic Centre, Salters, St George. All sites run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily. The Unit encourages persons who have passed the eight-week mark since their first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine to go to any site for the second dose.
