Duo on drug, weapons charges, remanded

Two men are on remand at Dodds in connection with drug and firearm charges.

They are Henderson Oscar Drayton, 57, of Wellington Street, St. Michael and Troy Sylvester King, 46, of Ashby Land, Oistins, Christ Church.

The accused duo are alleged to have had possession of a firearm as well as possession, possession with intent to traffic and supply 20.80 kilogrammes of cannabis on August 22 within Barbados’ territorial waters.

The illicit drug had an estimated Street value of $83,200.

They are due to reappear on September 22 before Oistins Magistrate Deidre McKenna.
