Ricardo Ian Fields, of Station Hill Main Road, St Michael appeared before the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court this afternoon on three offences. He is alleged to have damaged a motor car belonging to Taahir Kara and another belonging to Enrico Bowen on April 14 without lawful excuse. He is also charged with assaulting Jaquan Broome on the same date, causing him actual bodily harm. The 61-year-old man pleaded not guilty to the charges. However Sergeant Paul Prescod objected to him being granted bail citing his prior convictions and the fact that a warrant had been issued by another court for his arrest. In his bail application Fields disclosed that he had several health issues including being a diabetic and that a health institution had “made a mistake “ and prescribed that wrong medication for him which had to be “flushed out” of his system.
