He died at the Accident and Emergency Department of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in the evening on Tuesday, September 21. His COVID-19 test, which was taken at the department on Tuesday, was returned on Wednesday, September 22, showing a positive result. He had comorbidities and was unvaccinated.
