The forecasters advised: “Although convection associated with this wave increased overnight, it remains rather disorganized. Some slow development is possible as the system encounters a marginally favourable environment over the next day or two.” The BMS said the wave will begin to affect Barbados from Monday evening through to Tuesday morning. “Scattered moderate to heavy showers, thunderstorms and gusty winds are possible as this system affects the island. This may result in flood watches or warnings being issued later this evening if conditions warrant.” The BMS has urged the public to continue to monitor all its official updates.
