The BLP is playing an interesting game with internal politics.

The old boys George Payne, Trevor Prescod and Edmund Hinkson got demoted They should ask Chris Gayle to share his secrets. Now Ronald Toppin, Lt. Bostic and John King are taking a slow walk back to the pavilion.

People want to know if Payne, Prescod and Hinkson will even make the team for the general election.

Rev. Atherley took a chance and started his own team as Opposition Leader.

Gline Clarke signed a different contract so now he is touring Canada.

It is the changing of the guard. The old boys may be going or maybe they’re jumping ship. But are any being pushed?

The selectors, coaches and managers can change as many candidates as they want. Old or young some team members will be gone whenever the game is over.

Hartley Henry can’t help them. Neither can the PM.

The people will take fresh guard and some MPs will be out after one term.

Everyone is not blind. Like cricket there is more than meets the eye in politics.
