On Monday, November 1, a 70-year-old woman of Haitian nationality passed away at Harrison’s Point Isolation Facility, and a 92-year-old Barbadian man also succumbed to the virus while at the Queen’s College Isolation Centre. They were both unvaccinated. Additionally, two Barbadians, an 88-year-old woman and a 94-year-old man, died today, Tuesday, November 2, at the Harrison’s Point and Blackman and Gollop Isolation Facilities, respectively. She was vaccinated, while he was unvaccinated. The deaths from COVID-19 now stand at 160. Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, has extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
