I was among those who was deprived of voting yesterday because of my COVID-19 status. But it seems casting my vote would have been like throwing water in the sea as it was not needed.

I would have felt very aggrieved if the Barbados Labour Party had lost the election and I had not voted. But all is well that ends well. Congrats to my MP Arthur Holder and to my Prime Minister Mia Mottley.

However, I would have liked at least two or at most three members of both the DLP and APP to have won just for the sake of democracy. But it is what it is and I am not complaining.
