I wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated team of people who worked tirelessly over the three-week period of the intense election campaign. It was because of your commitment, dedication and hard work of this team that I was able to pull off my first General Election campaign as Democratic Labour Party (DLP) candidate for St Michael North West. Thanks to the branch executive and residents who gave advice, guidance and reasoning when needed. It is because of your assistance and rallying that we were able stage a quality campaign and execute our plans. Plans that we still intend to carry out where possible. Time is running out Indeed, I was indeed humbled, heartened and blessed by the support of those who came out to meetings, logged on the meetings, followed the campaign, voted for me or simply offered words of encouragement during that period. I must state publicly that since this near three-year journey of spending countless hours in the constituency, many of you have accepted and welcomed me into your households. We have connected in a real way and you have come to realise that I am but a phone call away. You must know that I do not take this lightly. Of course, being your duly elected representative would have been the ideal outcome on January 19, 2022, but that was not to be. However, you can rest assured the election result will not stop me from advocating for you, it cannot stop me from being the voice of the voiceless, it will not deter me from representing your interests. Thank you, St Michael North West, for taking this initial part of my political career with me. Let us continue as we journey together.
