Speaking Out #BTSpeakingOut – Roads in Orleans want fixing by Barbados Today Traffic 02/03/2022 written by Barbados Today Traffic 02/03/2022 1 min read A+A- Reset Share FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 112 Disclaimer: The views and opinions expressed by the author(s) do not represent the official position of Barbados TODAY. by Mike from the Orleans I know that some road rehabilitation has been going on in certain parts of Barbados. So, it is within this context that I am asking if successive governments have had an issue with the folk here in the New Orleans that our roads are not getting fixed. This community has been neglected by both the Dems and the Bees where road infrastructure is concerned. Every road in the New Orleans is in need of repair. There are some pot holes that motorists cannot avoid even if they parked and walked. Every four or five years someone from the government comes and throws some stones and tar in a few holes and eventually the rain and vehicles return them to their “holey” state. But this is strictly for show, because the majority of the roads do not even get that patch work. I was born in the Orleans in the late 1980s and the roads out here have always been bad. Time to do something about them. You Might Be Interested In Enlightened rastafari Twistory again!
