Of the positive cases, 44 persons were under the age of 18, and 131 were 18 years and older. The number of people in isolation facilities was 55, while 1,462 were in home isolation. As at March 8, a total of 323 lives had been lost to COVID-19. The public health laboratory has carried out 594,294 tests since February 2020 and recorded 56,551 COVID-19 cases (26,238 males and 30,313 females). Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, the total number of persons with at least one dose is 160,525 (70.3 per cent of the eligible population). The total number of fully vaccinated persons is 150,127 (55.4 per cent of the total population or 65.7 per cent of the eligible population). The eligible population represents those persons who are 12 years and older.
