As such, the Authority will begin work at its facility in Alleynedale, St. Lucy on Monday, March 14, 2022. The cleaning and maintenance work at the Alleynedale well is expected to take four (4) weeks as the BWA team works alongside a team of trained divers. During this period, the well will be taken out of production Monday to Saturday between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm each day to facilitate the process. This timeframe includes all checks and sanitization processes involved. This maintenance forms part of the BWA’S ongoing maintenance programme for all of its wells and ensures the best quality water for customers.
