That’s the day Principal Crown Counsel Krystal Delaney will outline the facts of the case against Michael Hugh Leacock, before Madam Justice Pamela Beckles. Leacock pleaded guilty on Thursday in the No. 5 Supreme Court to having possession of the gun and bullets on July 22, 2012, without the necessary licences to do so. His attorney Desmond Sands has asked for a presentencing report in preparation for sentencing. The court has also requested a report on the time Leacock spent on remand as well as one on his prior convictions, if any. Attorneys on both sides will make submissions on sentencing when the matter resumes on July 6. Leacock remains on bail in the meantime.
