Barbadian cyclist Amber Joseph has added another piece of hardware to her collection.
This time she rode her way to silver in the women’s omnium at the Pan American Elite Track Cycling Championships at the Villa Deportivan Nacional Velodrome in Lima, Peru, today.
On Wednesday, the 22-year-old attained gold in the women’s scratch race ahead of Colleen Gulick from the United States and bronze medalist Sarah Van Dam from Canada. Joseph’s final race is on Sunday. Her next international competition will be the Tissot UCI Track World Championship in France from October 12 to 16. Points from this meet will go towards her bid to reach the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
