In what has become a welcomed tradition at Republic Bank (Barbados) Limited, employee children who sat this year’s Barbados Secondary Schools Entrance Examination have received a special donation from the Bank for their efforts.
To assist in their preparation for the transition to secondary school, the 23 students were each presented with a cheque for $150.00 and a goodie bag of Republic Bank branded items.
The initiative, now in its seventh year, represents another example of the Bank’s desire to ensure the welfare and wellbeing of staff and their families.
“This is a major milestone in the lives of these children and also in their parent’s lives, so we are happy to help them mark the occasion. We are very family oriented at Republic Bank and therefore we are pleased to invest in their success and wellbeing. We will certainly be following up with their parents on their progress and cheering on their future successes,” said Manager, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Mischa Knight.
The students who received donations are: Tymon Agard; Malek Alleyne-Lewis; Zaavian Atkinson; Sariyah Bascombe; Darin Best-Lashley; Caitlyn Bowen; Camari Bourne; Ethan Burrowes; Kalea Depeiza; Ramone Edwards; Zamara Harris; Azari Johnson; Simya Johnson; Kayla Jordan; Arianna Odell; Kayla Piggott-Best; Samaéra Sandiford; Hailey Skeete; Malachi Springer-Moore; Antoni Waterman; Ciel Willie;
