Police have identified the victim as 26-year-old Rashawn Alexander. He passed away in the early hours of this morning at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Alexander was among two other people injured in a drive-by shooting that occurred last night. Police said around 8:40, two persons on a motorcycle travelling along Nelson Street, discharged a number of rounds at persons on the block. Investigations are continuing.
