Share FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 394 Terry Jones was just about to turn into his workplace at the Nation Publishing Company on Fontabelle when he heard the clue to the Catch the Courtesy Chauffeur promotion on VOB 92.9 FM at 1.15 p.m. on Wednesday. The clue, “The Holiest City in Islam” made him think of the mosques on Fontabelle and so, he immediately went back on the road to go searching for the Chauffeur as he was convinced that he must be close by. On his way to the mosques, he thought ‘no, they wouldn’t put him at a mosque’…and then thought ‘it must be the mecca and the mecca in Barbados is Kensington’ so off he sped to Kensington Oval, looking for the Courtesy Chauffeur. He started hunting and spotted one of the Courtesy electric cars…a Hyundai Kona and thought “I got him now” and he used the catch phrase “Driver, take me to the Showroom.” When he got the much sought-after answer “As you wish Sir,” he knew that he was a winner, having heard the radio commercial and viewed the poster on social media. The Crystal Heights resident who solved the mystery and found the Chauffeur in eight minutes, has won vouchers valued at $500, compliments of Marshall Trading Limited, which he will collect from the Courtesy Showroom shortly. Catch the Courtesy Chauffeur is part of the Courtesy Garage Ltd 100th anniversary celebrations and takes place every Wednesday from 19th October to 30th November. The clues can be heard on Slam 101.1 FM and VOB 92.9 FM. Those wanting to take part must follow courtesygaragebb on IG and Facebook.
