Kurt Rohan Thompson, a 40-year-old steel bender and 48-year-old Kenny Ricardo Thompson, both from Hillaby, St Andrew, had previously appeared before Magistrate Douglas Frederick in the District ‘F’ Magistrates’ Court, where they were granted bail. However, when they appeared before Acting Magistrate Deborah Beckles they pleaded guilty to using unlawful violence to each other on October 27, 2022. In giving the facts Sergeant Victoria Taitt revealed that the two brothers live in close proximity to each other and have a history of physical confrontations. On Oct 27 police responded to a report at a relative’s shop where the brothers were involved in a physical confrontation which began because Kurt used stitching screws belonging to Kenny. While Kurt offered to pay for the screws, Kenny refused payment and insisted that he wanted the screws back.
