Cocktails and Comedy is continuing its monthly comedy show which features Barbadian comedians, Sunrokk, Biko and Jason, who usually have the audience in stitches. On December 21, the comedy show will be hosting Wuh Part My Gift? at Mount Gay Visitors Centre, The Mighty Grynner highway at 8 p.m.
Founder of Cocktails and Comedy, Simon Alleyne said patrons can expect a belly full of laughter and stories of Old Time Bajan Christmas celebrations compared to now. “This Cocktails and Comedy Show is special for Christmas, as it will be the last one for 2022. There will be some giveaways to audience members as we would recognise some of our loyal customers who have continued to support the show over the past two years,” he said.
For Independence Day, Alleyne took his Cocktails and Comedy patrons to a new location at The Mill & Co at Canewood, St Thomas, where the audience thoroughly enjoyed the jokes which were all centred around Independence Day.

“For Independence, we held another comedy show, and it was amazing. The people who came out thoroughly enjoyed themselves with the jokes, the premium cocktails as well as the pristine location. Our mission with cocktails and comedy is to provide a platform for comedians to develop their craft while making a meaningful contribution to the cultural industry. This unique comedy show provides an alternative form of entertainment for young professionals and mature audiences,” he said.
Alleyne, who has been involved in theatre for over two decades, said persons can expect all the bells and whistles for this last show of the season.
“When I started Cocktails and Comedy two years ago, I would have never imagined it would have the success that it has today. That is why on December 21st, 2022, for our final show for 2022, you have to be there as it will be an experience like no other. The tickets are being sold for $30 and that includes a complimentary cocktail upon arrival. Trust me, you do not want to miss this. I have already heard some of the jokes our comedians are working on and trust me, you will be leaving Mount Gay Visitor’s Centre in stitches,” he assured.
