Those areas for tariff consideration are: changes for tariff headings; errors; omissions; incorrect application of rules; reclassification of products, and breakout derogations. Additionally, last year, the Ministry of Finance was approached by various organisations regarding derogations or other considerations for specially imported products. Those requests should be submitted to the department to be reviewed and if accepted, they will be included in the 2022 Tariff slated to be implemented in April 2023. Written submissions should be sent to owen.holder@customs.gov.bb. (BGIS) Barbados Today Stay informed and engaged with our digital news platform.
