Barbados’ leading female quarter miler Sada Williams registered a season’s best performance today at the USTF Los Angeles Grand Prix.
The world bronze medalist and commonwealth games champion and record holder clocked 51.00 seconds to finish fourth in the women’s 400-metre event.
The race was won by Dominican Republic’s Marileidy Paulino in blistering world lead and national record of 48.98 seconds.
Salwa Eid Nasser of Bahrain was second in 50.27 seconds while USA’s Lynna Irby-Jackson stormed to 50.38 seconds for third place. (AGB)
