Body of 52-year-old man found at Ridge Estate, Christ Church

According to police, the discovery was made around 6:15 a.m. at Ridge Estate.

Police said the initial report was received via telephone around 10:20 p.m. on Saturday. At that time, the caller stated that they saw an unknown suspicious-looking vehicle parked in a cart road in the vicinity of Ridge Estate. Police responded and confirmed the presence of the vehicle, which they seized.

Police said a further check was made of the area Sunday morning and they found a body.

Both the vehicle and the man were the subject of a missing person and missing vehicle report made on Tuesday,  August 22.

The man was identified as Perry Ricardo Walker, 52, of 3rd Avenue, Spring Garden, Black Rock, St Michael.

Investigations are continuing.
