However, police say preliminary investigations suggest there is no threat to public safety at this time. On the advice of the National Petroleum Cooperation and the Barbados Fire Service, the Barbados Police Service is advising all pedestrian and vehicular traffic to avoid the area, as work is being conducted to resolve the situation.
