RBC Royal Bank (Barbados) Ltd has reaffirmed its continued support for students of The UWI Cave Hill Campus, with the official presentation of the proceeds from this year’s RBC Race for the Kids.

The April 14 annual fund-raising event attracted over 1 600 participants and raised $100 000 for bursaries and the university’s First Year Experience (FYE) programme. This year, a portion of the proceeds will also support the acquisition of a mental health app for students.

Here, RBC Managing Director and Area Vice President of Banking, Shimon McIntosh (left) presents the $100 000 cheque to Principal of The UWI Cave Hill Campus, Professor Clive Landis.
