Playing at the Dayrells Road grounds, opening batsman Seth Agard batted through the innings as he ended the days play on 90 not out after facing 140 balls and striking seven fours. His opening partner Davion Hoyte made 52 while Jonathan Drakes fell three runs short of a century, Drakes struck six fours and six sixes in his 48 ball knock of 97. Raymon Reifer also chipped in with 40 in 24 balls. Empire’s bowlers dominated the Pickwick batters with early wickets at regular intervals.
