The Christ Church Foundation School has been approved to open for face-to-face classes from Monday.
A final inspection was made on Sunday by a Ministry-led team, which included members of the school’s Board of Management, the Principal and members of the teachers’ Unions, who examined the completeness of work conducted and the cleanliness of those areas.
At the conclusion of the inspection, all parties agreed that in-person classes would take place from tomorrow.
The Grantley Adams Memorial however, will engage in online school from Monday – Friday.
A visit to the school on Sunday revealed that the noxious order which forced the early closure of school on Thursday was still very present.
Tests have since been ordered to uncover the source of the odor.
During this time, students and teachers will use the online modality to avoid any learning loss, and the Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational training will continue monitoring the situation, and provide an update on any developments. (PR)
