Additionally, no hearings will take place at any magistrates’ courts across the island during this period. However, the offices of the respective magistrates’ courts and the other departments of the Registration Department will remain open. These changes to the court’s schedule are necessary to facilitate the attendance of the Judiciary, Magistracy, and the Registrar at a Workshop on the Draft Criminal Procedure Rules 2024 in Barbados. This workshop will be hosted at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre. The Registration Department regrets and apologises for any inconvenience these closures may cause.
