DEOs to showcase skills this Saturday

District Emergency Organisations (DEOs) in Barbados will showcase their skills to the public, this weekend.

The event, which takes place this Saturday, December 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Lester Vaughn School, Cane Garden, St. Thomas, will consist of demonstrations geared towards emergency response.

They will include aiding vulnerable persons in a disaster, the correct installation of a tarpaulin, and a fire suppression exercise.

Attendees may sign up to join the DEOs, and will also be given chances to win prizes and take home giveaways.
