Sustainable entrepreneurs and vendors to showcase products

Sustainable entrepreneurs and vendors will showcase their products tomorrow, Friday, March 14, when departments under the Ministry of Energy and Business host a Community Fair.

It will be held in the car park of the Warrens Office Complex, Warrens, St. Michael, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Officers from the consumer protection divisions will be available to share information on consumer rights, and how they are protected by the departments.

There will be entertainment by DJ Bon & live performance by IzaVybe.

The fair will end the World Consumer Rights Week of Celebrations, organised by the Office of Public Counsel, Fair Trading Commission, Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, and the Co-operatives Department.

World Consumer Rights Day is celebrated annually on March 15. It is an opportunity to draw attention to the rights of consumers and share valuable information on how to respect and protect them.
