Police at Hastings/Worthing Station received a report about the incident at about 10:40 pm. Based on their investigations, the victim was walking to his motorcar after liming at a shop in Dunlow Lane, Bay Street, St. Michael. On entering the car, he was attacked by two assailants. A struggle ensued, and he was shot in his leg. The man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a private motorcar.
